We spent our Memorial Day out in Slovenia, white water rafting with Lisa and Cody! It was a BLAST! We are all from different parts of Florida, so we reminisced about the springs and how we could relate this (maybe) to tubing down the river. Boy! Were we wrong! The water in the Soča river is an Alpine river, its source lies in the Trenta Valley in the Julian Alps in northwestern Slovenia, at an elevation of 876 meters. Basically, a river... in the Alps.
Need I say more?!
So here are some pictures from the trip!
The place we went is called 'X Point, Slovenia'.
They have rafting, canyoning (which was our #1 choice), kayaking, canoeing and hiking!
These dates are obviously wrong, but X Point did let us use their waterproof camera! So oh well!
Uh ohhhh! Lisa jumped and we almost lost her!
As you can see by our faces... the water was really cold! Brrr!
Yes ma'am, your memorial day was better than mine hahaah. What a blast :)
