Day 6, Monday: If you couldn't answer with your job, how would you answer the question, 'what do you do'?
Oh god, what DO I do!?!
I wander.
I've always been one that couldn't stay in one place for long periods of time. I am always on the move. After graduating high school, I moved to Tampa. Then I moved six times within three years. Roughly every six months I'd say!
Next step, I've chosen a career field where wandering is WHAT I DO! (As long as I get final approval for my start date in July) I will officially be on the move yet again! I will deploy every six months out of two years and moving from base to base for training or wherever I get stationed... my life is a giant moving truck. Good thing I moved so much in college, I am now a minimalist! I can pack up my belongings in about a truckload! It is the only way I think I could live. Free from worldly ties and hoarding isn't something I'm familiar with. (okay, that's a lie... I have hoarded a FEW things, but nothing crazy!)
I love traveling and getting lost, even though I might freak out at night, I still enjoy it fully in the daytime! Haha! I am so glad I've found Cayman, a man who loves to travel. We have our lives cut out for us! I cannot wait!
Visting from the link-up... and I love this answer! I'm the wife of an Airman, and I struggle with the moving around aspect of this life. It's inspiring to see someone who embraces it!
ReplyDeleteThat's such a great answer! I'm better at keeping the "nonsense items" to a minimum because of college..but my husband..uuugggghhh! He's such a little pack rat! I had to force him to throw out so much when we PCS-ed.
ReplyDeleteI love this one. So Bree :)
