Story of my life in 250 words or less.
I was born and raised in a small town in Central Florida. Growing up in a town where the 'biggest' city is around an hour away, you tend to entertain yourself. We owned all kinds of farm animals, including pigs, cows and even goats. I knew how to drive a four wheeler before I could write in cursive. Graduated in a class of around 400 (I don't really know if that's small or not...?) Started dating my husband at 19 and visited him in South Korea twice while he was stationed there. At the ripe age of 21, I graduated with my bachelor's degree from USF in Tampa, got engaged and married the love of my life and received an opportunity to serve in the United States Air Force. We got married in Mount Dora, Florida, surrounded by 75 of our closest friends and family and then set sail for the Bahamas. I was selected for Combat Systems Officer (Navigator) and was scheduled to start in February, 2013. I visited my husband for three months in Italy and traveled all over Europe, including Paris, France, Slovenia, Austria, Croatia and a piece of Germany. I came home to Florida in late January, had heart surgery for Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome and now am back on track for OTS in July! I am leaving in about two weeks to see my husband again before I go off for training! And that, my friends, is my life story in 240 words!
