Day Fifteen: Day of Travel

Day 15, Wednesday: A Day in the life (include photos from throughout your typical day - this could be "a photo an hour" if you'd like)

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Well, I wouldn't say this is a typical day in my life... but MIGHT AS WELL BE! I have now been traveling for around 18 hours, I think.
I left Tampa airport and headed to London Gatwick, which is where I am currently writing this sentence from. I always get screwed over somehow... well 1/2 the time! I have been here for around five hours already and will be here for a few more until my connecting flight gets here around 2pm (whatever time zone I'm in right now!).

(Yes, I look dumb. BUT I DON'T CARE. Also, so happy they let me keep my pack as a carry-on, even though it REALLY is too big!)

Quick update on the last time I traveled to Italy...
I flew out of Tampa to JFK and ended up in a freak snow storm in November. Stayed the night atop Chili's bar chairs, guarding my luggage and not going pee. Alas, I got to Italy!
The trip back to the USA was amazing. I flew first class for the first time and fell in love.

That was short lived...

Flying coach across the ocean is horrible. After doing first class, resorting back to coach is HORRIBLE! But, you get what you get and you deal with it! Hey! I'm still on my way to Italy, aren't I?!

  1. It's my dream to one day fly first class overseas. I came really close to it the last time I flew, but then some big shot came in and stole the one open seat away from me :(

  2. Man!!! That stinks! I almost did this time but I was flying standby so they all filled up! :( bummer! British Airways isn't too bad either in coach, they have TVs for every seat and you can pick what you watch.
