This news is bittersweet. I was excited to start Officer Training School in July, but the big man has different plans for us Kidwell's. I am slotted for either October or November, just awaiting waiver approval on my heart condition.

This means, Cayman and I have spent almost seven months of our first year of marriage together! Not too shabby since we didn't think we'd even get three months after the wedding (since I was supposed to start OTS in February)! So I am happy... and sad. I have bills and yearning to start my career but my marriage comes first. I'm okay with that!
